Off-the-rack clothing almost never fits perfectly. That's not a flaw in you — it's just the math of mass production. Alterations are how you close that gap: between the clothes you own and the clothes that actually look the way they're supposed to.

Our alterations team brings real professional expertise to every piece that comes through our shop. Hemming a pair of pants is a simple job when done well and a visible disaster when not. Resizing a suit jacket takes skill, patience, and an eye for how a garment is supposed to drape. We take that seriously.

This is a professional service. You're paying for trained hands, good judgment, and results that last.

What We Alter & Repair

Resizing & Taking In/Out

Waists, sides, seats, and more. We work on pants, skirts, dresses, shirts, suit jackets, and outerwear. If a garment fits in every way but one, we can usually fix that one thing.

Pants & Waistbands

Waist adjustments for both jeans and dress pants, including drawstring and elastic options. Leg tapering knee-down or hip-down. Crotch adjustments. Full re-cuts when needed.

Hemming & Length

Pants, skirts, dresses, shirts, sleeves — if it needs to be shorter (or longer), we can handle it. Including original hems on jeans.

Zipper Replacement

Pants zippers, dress zippers, coat zippers, invisible zippers, slider replacements. If a zipper is the problem, we can fix it.

Patches & Emblems

We do a lot of this — more than most people expect. Uniform patches, logo emblems, school and ROTC insignia, security and city employee uniforms. If it needs to be sewn on correctly and last, bring it to us.

Wedding & Formalwear

Bridesmaid dresses, suits, tuxedos, mother-of-the-bride, and more. We understand the stakes with formalwear and treat these pieces accordingly. Rush service is available for an additional fee.

General Repairs

Seam repairs, button replacement, belt loops, patch holes, and other fixes. Sometimes a garment just needs a little attention to get years more life out of it.

Most alterations are priced as "starting at" — the final cost depends on the garment, the complexity, and any additional details like lining, top stitching, or special construction. We'll always give you a clear estimate before we begin, and we'll contact you if anything changes the scope.

Standard Turnaround: About Two Weeks

Most alterations are ready within one to two weeks. More complex work — formalwear, major resizing, multi-piece orders — may take additional time. Rush service is available if you're up against a deadline.
